Frankham has been published in dozens of magazines and newspapers throughout New Zealand, Australia, USA and the United Kingdom as well as completing commissioned stories and photographic shoots for some of the world's most recognised brands such as the World Wildlife Fund, Sony, Kathmandu and Macpac. His own book Wildlands was published in 2003 by New Holland Publishers.

WILDLANDS

From 1999 until 2001 James Frankham was a writer, photographer, filmmaker and webauthor aboard the multimedia expedition ship Starship. Wildlands is a rollicking tale of misadventure as he travels through a dozen of the most astonishing and ecologically significant places on the planet. It was published by New Holland Publishers in 2003.
